Steelers Demolish Chargers 35-24

With the Steelers having a bye last week, they came out strong today against the Chargers, who had previously won 5 straight games. Roethlisberger threw for 181 yards and had 1 touchdown pass. The Steelers rushing team tacked on three more touchdowns, with Willie Parker leading the gang with 146 yards and 2 touchdowns. Santonio Holmes had a 67-yd punt return in the first quarter to kick things off for the Steelers. The Steelers will face the Baltimore Ravens on January 18th 630pm for the AFC championship title.

Steelers win 31-0 against Browns

The Steelers defeated the Browns 31-0 tonight to finish the season 12-4, and to earn a first round bye in the playoffs. Roethlisberger was injured in the second quarter with a concussion but is expected to be ready for the playoffs.


Steelers Defeat Cowboys 20-13

With 14 points in a 24-second period in the fourth quarter, the Pittsburgs Steelers came back to rally to defeat the Dallas Cowboys 20-13. Tony Romo for the Cowboys had 210 passing yards with one touchdown and three interceptions. Roethlisberger had over 200 yards passing and one touchdown with no INT’s. With the Cowboys loss, the New York Giants clinch the win for their division.


Steelers Lose Lead and Game to Colts

Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers had an early lead in the game against the Indianapolis Colts but failed to keep it when the time is the most important, at the end of the game. Roethlisberge finished the game with 284 yards on 30 of 42 passing and had 3 INT’s, which the Colts turned into 14 points. Colts won 24-20.


Roethlisberger Probable to Play on Sunday

Despite having a slightly seperated right shoulder, Ben Roethlisberger practiced on Friday to prepare for their upcoming game this weekend agains the Colts. It will come down to a game time decision to decide whether Roethlisberger will get the start or if Leftwich will be starting. Also, Willie Parker is likely to not play in the game due to a shoulder injury.


Steelers Defeat Redskins 23-6

Even though the Steelers defeated the Redskins tonight 23-6, Roethlisberger left the game early after reaggravating his shoulder. Leftwich came in to throw 7 of 10 passes for 129 yars and a touchdown.


Giants Score 12 in 4th to Defeat Steelers

With the Giants having a 9-7 lead at halftime, and the Steelers going up 14-9 in the 3rd, it was all Giants in the 4th quarter. Roethlisberger only completed 13 of his 29 passes, and had 4 INT’s. Manning for the Giants had 199 passing yards and 1 TD pass.


Steelers Demolish the Bengals

Led by Ben Roethlisberger and Mewelde Moore, the Steelers pounded it to the Bengals and weren’t going to let them get their first win of the season. Roethlisberger had 216 yards and 2 touchdowns while Moore had 120 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns as well. Three different wide receivers for the Steelers each had a touchdown (Holmes, Ward, and Washington). The Bengals appeared to have lacked in both passing and rushing in the game today. Steelers won 38-10 improving their record to 5-1, while the Bengals are still winless at 0-7.


Steelers win 26-21 vs Jaguars

Roethlisberger shined as he threw over 300 yards for the first time this year and tacked on three touchdowns to give the Steelers the 26-21 edge against the Jaguars in a thrilling game.
